Captured By the Vampire ARC Review
This book is the prequel to McAllen’s new Compelled by the Vampire series. To be honest, I don’t quite see how it will come into play, as Zoe and Rowan weren’t in the first book, but it is still a very entertaining standalone. Hopefully, the next few books will go back to them! Zoe is…
Compelled By the Vampire ARC Review
Roric is one of the good vampires. He doesn’t drink from humans, even from the legal blood banks where humans volunteer. He definitely doesn’t want to infect a human, and his job is to track down those who attack humans. When he comes across a woman who has been infected by a vampire, he knows…

The Almosts: A Snowverse Novella Review
As I am waiting patiently for the next Freya Snow book to come out, I am going to take some time to review a few of the novellas in the universe and read a few of L.C. Mawson’s other books. Kara was autistic and good with computers. She is caught at a bank heist and…

Shaeleen is given a TruthStone by a strange woman, and now every lie she hears or tells gives her pain. The pain ranges depending on the intensity of the lie, and Shaeleen has to learn to control it so that she isn’t found out. Even separating herself from the stone doesn’t do anything to alleviate…
Loyalty Betrayal ARC Review (Aspects #5)
Honestly, I love the Aspects series, but I really need for Claire to return to Earth! It’s really starting to hurt to have to see Hate and Claire both suffering in their individual storylines when things could be solved if only they were on the same PLANET. Claire is still on Rena, and she can’t…
