I’m sorry that I always seem to be late with these things, but I am trying my absolute best to catch up! Top Ten Tuesdays are a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is Frequently Used Words in YA titles.
1) “Bound”
The What Lies Inside novel is part of the Blood Bound series, so I am going to include it!
2) “Academy”
3) “Secret” or “Secrets”
4) “Dark”
The first two are more NA due to them having horror elements/being full horror, but the last one is definitely YA.
5) “City”
6) “Girl” or “Girls”
7) “King”
8) “Love”
The romance novels above are all clean romance, and so they would all be YA-friendly.
9) “Prince” or “Princess”
10) “Castle” or “Court”
There are probably many more books with those titles under these categories, but I tried to only put books that I had actual read before, or plan to read in the very near future. See y’all next week!
Cool post! So many words are commonly used in book titles!
Thanks! And yeah. I wish I could have included all the books that have like one word titles, but the word is randomly chosen from something in the book. Like “savior”, “insurgent”, “mockingjay”, “eclipse”
