The Honorable Rosalind’s Heart Review

The Honorable Rosalind's Heart

This might show up as a series in the picture, but I have this book on my phone and it is not a series, and it is only around 100 phone pages long. Therefore, I am not sure what to consider it as, but I am just going to review it as if it is a novel. I can’t find the book on Amazon either, so I’m unsure of where I found it, so assume I found it on Instafreebie at some point over the summer. Now that that is over, onto the review!

Rosalind is betrothed to the Earl of Frinton, but she does not have any attraction towards him. She wishes that her parents would simply allow her to break the engagement but they refuse.

Heath is ten years older than Rosalind and is determined not to be married. However, his family is pressuring him to produce an heir and more eligible women are approaching him by the day with their families.

When Rosalind and Heath first meet, it seems that they are destined to be enemies. Nevertheless, their love for each other grows slowly and soon they wonder how they would be able to stay apart.

I love historical fiction romance stories, but this one seemed a bit bland to me. I could not think of any unique things about the characters, and I simply did not like them very much. The storyline was engaging and that was what truly saved the book for me. I really enjoy storylines of people being betrothed and then finding their true loves. Overall, if the story was longer I might have become attracted more to the characters, but I really just read this for the storyline.

Overall Rating: 2.5/5
