Moving to a new place isn’t easy…

Until a neglected ship and its owner make her feel at home

After spying a boat in need of some TLC, single mom Andi Sterling strikes a deal with its owner, Zeke Donovan, who shares her passion for restoring old things. Uncovering the legendary ship’s secrets draws them closer. Is it too soon for Andi to open her heart to the chance to build new dreams?

My Review
I haven’t read a sweet romance novel in a while, and this was definitely a nice refreshing one. I read this book almost entirely in one sitting even though the book is almost 400 pages long, and was engaged for every single page. Andi was such a responsible mother who even had a good relationship with her ex-husband for the sake of her daughter. She lived on the boat instead of living in a hotel, but she was still determined to make the best of the situation. Her daughter struggled with the change, but instead of getting frustrated she helped her daughter to also see the best of the situation.
Zeke is taking care of his father who is suffering from cognitive problems years after he suffered concussions. He never feels sorry for himself, but also makes the best of a bad situation. It is really no wonder that the two connect. Positive people attract other positive people.
The plot of this story flows really well, and the world-building is incredible. It even brings in some historical fiction elements when it discusses the renovation of the yacht. The story was beautifully written! There was only thing that kept me from absolutely loving this book!
It was good all the way through, and then it got to the end. I just didn’t like the end of this story very much. I thought that it felt a little rushed. However, if this story continues in another book, then I would definitely love to continue it. This is the only thing that disappointed me in this novel, everything else was picture-perfect.
I would recommend this novel to anyone who loves sweet and clean romance novels, or who is looking for a quick, fun read.
I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
