Sandra James owns a coffee shop, and she is rather successful in her area. However, she has been out of the dating game for a long time and yearns to finally be able to settle down with a family to call her own. Her trial runs fail miserably until her friend sets her up on a blind date.
This short story can be read as a standalone or a part of the Ready for Love trilogy.
I had been looking for a sweet romance novel for a while, and this gave me exactly what I needed. Sandra is honestly looking for a family and someone to love, and looking for family-oriented men. I also appreciated the fact that Sandra was an established businesswoman. She would have been fine on her own, independent, but she wanted to start a family. It shows what some women go through, sacrificing love for work.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a short, sweet romance novel.
I received this book for free and this is my voluntary review.
