What’s worse than insufferable dragon shifters?

Insufferable dragon shifters who think it’s ‘immoral’ to sell dragons.

It’s just my luck that the magical dragons I found would be three asshole shifters. The trade value of dragons just went up too. And when I mention selling at least one of the men to cover my investment, they throw little tantrums like I asked them to give their souls or something.

Ungrateful little creatures are what they are.

I have my own problems. My own secrets. These men are not what I need in my life right now. To top it off, they’re on the hunt for a dangerous Mage.

Just wait until they find out the Mage they’re hunting is actually me …

This is a Reverse Harem series containing M/M themes. Recommended for readers 18 and over.

My Review

This book was hilarious. It had its dark moments, but I found myself laughing more than I found myself on the edge of my seat. Arlow never wanted to take care of dragons, and she does the bare minimum to keep them healthy. The only reason why she even bothered to take them on was that the money their sale would bring her would allow her to stop working and live comfortably for the rest of her life. She wasn’t expecting them to be shifters, and when they reveal themselves, they hate her. They don’t understand that she didn’t feed them as much because she didn’t have the money to afford all the food, and they felt that she didn’t like them.

Honestly, how they ended up having a reverse harem in this story, I don’t know. They started off on such a bad foot, it is a wonder of how Arlow ended up falling for the boys and the boys ended up falling for her. But it happened! And it wasn’t disappointing when it did. I could definitely see the chemistry between the characters and I loved when their relationship got off the ground. Nevertheless, not all the dragons ended up falling for Arlow, and this leads to my next point.

I didn’t know that this was a series! I don’t mind that it was a series, but it did come as a shocker when it ended and said: “wait for the next book.” I had hoped that we would at least get to start seeing a real relationship between Arlow and all three dragon brothers, but we only got to see one true relationship and maybe the start of a second. I can’t wait to read book two, and maybe their relationship will grow in the next novel.

My only real confusion was why Arlow still wanted to sell the dragons after figuring out that they were shifters rather than simple animals. She didn’t know who they really were, and they were already grown men. They could have been princes or something, she could have tried to use them to help her rather than just trying to get rid of them for a limited amount of money.

I would recommend this book to lovers of reverse harem novels and shifter romance novels.

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
